Made Free to Live No Longer Insecure, Anxious, and Fearful

Living Free From Insecurity, Doubt, and Fear

Insecurity, fear, and doubt are three intruding thoughts that come in and overwhelm the soul. If not taken captive and made obedient to Christ will trip us up and hold us captive to their deception.

Insecurity, fear, and doubt should never describe a child of God, but often they do. These thoughts, or gateways, often enter my mind and take me down a broad road. A road Scriptures describe as leading to destruction. Matthew 7:13.

Insecurity, Anxiety, and doubt are three intruding thoughts that come in and overwhelm the soul. In Christ you are made free.

The Narrow Way Leads to Life

But there is another road. A narrow way that is said to lead to life. Matthew 7:14. The small gate that leads to the narrow path, to life, a peaceful life, eternal life is through Jesus Christ.

If we enter the narrow way through Jesus Christ, there is now no condemnation for those who are Him. Romans 8:14-17, tells us we have been made new, we are adopted and heirs of God, and fellow heirs with Christ. If I, if you, honestly believe what God’s word says concerning these truths,
• I am no longer an enemy of God,
•Sin no longer reigns and rules my life,
•We are fellow heirs with Christ
• We have received a spirit of adoption as sons of God
• We can cry out Father God
• No more fear in death
• No more insecurity, anxiety, and doubt

how would our thought life be different? Where is there room for insecurity, fear, and doubt? There is none when our thoughts are held captive to Who God says He is and who we are now in Christ!

Now, Under Obligation to Walk in Christ

So then, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, where fear, insecurity, and doubt are rooted, but we are obligated to walk by the Spirit of Christ, no longer living out the deeds of the flesh but the fruit of the Spirit!

This post goes along with our in-depth Bible Study in the book of Romans.
