Think about how different our evangelism would be, our churches would be, if we, like Paul, determined to know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
DO NOT DISTORT THE GOSPEL WITH WORLDLY WISDOM!
When man interjects his own wisdom and folly the message of the cross is distorted. Arguments and divisions occur when we step in without proclaiming the simple truths of the gospel.
We live in a world which needs Christ. They need Christ and nothing else! They do not know they do, but, believers, we do! We are doing the lost no favors by candy coating the Truth.
DO NOT CANDY COAT THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL!
Sisters we are not doing our other sisters in Christ any favors either when we disciple with watered down, feel good messages! God uses and works through the power of the Holy Spirit, when we teach the truths of the Gospel as they are taught in the word of God!
