Week 2 Writing Plan: A Picture of God’s Grace and Mercy

Grace and Mercy the Fruit of True Love

We are here sweet sisters the third and final week of our study in Philemon, ” A picture of God’s forgiveness.”  The book of Philemon paints a picture of the Love, grace, and mercy of God. We will focus on forgiveness in our final week of study. Each of us stood in need of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. “But God being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by His grace you have been saved.) Ephesians 2:4-7.

Our third week in Philemon we will spend working through each verse in this book. I’ve prepared a study guide for us to walk through. This study guide will take you deeper into the truths recorded in Philemon. I believe reading and writing this book has been invaluable but we cannot stop there. Now we need to dig deeper still.

  • This Philemon Digital Bible study was created to help you learn about the love, kindness, and forgiveness of God and how to extend it to others.
